Sitting on the outskirts of Bengaluru, this farmhouse, initially designed as a weekend getaway became the permanent residence for the client. With a stunning vista of an entrance, set amidst nature and far away from the city, one can't question the client for his decision.

Cikada is a rooftop restobar located in the heart of Davanagere, a central district of Karnataka.
The design offers spaces for all kinds of occasions from formal dining, casual group or couple hangouts to family gatherings. Each corner of the restobar is layered with different materials offering unique experiences during every visit for even the regular customers.
The space is covered by a singular hipped roof with specially designed truss work that amplifies the volume of the spaces.
The material pallete used creates a classic yet rustic vibe. Most of the materials are natural elements which provide a sense of familiarity to the users. Wherever possible, reclaimed materials have been used too, like the windows in the bar and family area and the clay tiles for the roof.
